OPERATIONAL DASHBOARDS & UI/UX

We design and build operator-facing interfaces for high-complexity data environments. Whether the "sensors" are orbital tracking feeds, RF spectrum data, STIG scan results, or enterprise compliance systems, the challenge is the same: surface the right information, reduce workflow friction, and let the operator act fast. We apply Astro UXDS design principles and modern front-end engineering to build dashboards that work in both classified and unclassified environments. If your team is fighting a legacy UI or staring at raw data with no good way to act on it, that's exactly the problem we solve.

DATA INTEGRATION & BACK-END ENGINEERING

Good interfaces start with good data pipelines. We build the back-end APIs, data fusion engines, and integration layers that connect your disparate data sources, sensors, databases, third-party systems, legacy feeds, into a clean, reliable stream your front end can actually use. We've done this for SATCOM and SDA programs where data volume, latency, and security requirements are all demanding simultaneously. We design the data model and the API layer as a coherent system, not as an afterthought to the UI.

LEGACY UI MODERNIZATION

A lot of DoD and defense software is running on Windows Forms, desktop-only clients, or web interfaces that were built ten years ago and never updated. Users have adapted to working around them, but they shouldn't have to. We migrate legacy interfaces to modern, responsive, web-based applications without disrupting the underlying systems. We maintain functional continuity while bringing the UX into the present: faster workflows, better data density, mobile-capable where appropriate, and built to the same security standards as the systems they replace.

SECURITY, COMPLIANCE & ATO SUPPORT

We are CMMC 2.0 Level 2 compliant and we built CertiField, a STIG compliance tracking, vulnerability management, and POA&M automation platform, because we live RMF requirements on our own programs. We bring that operational knowledge into every system we build: STIG-aligned configurations, proper CUI handling, containerized deployments on Azure Government, and the documentation discipline that ATOs require. We can support your compliance posture as a development partner or help your program office manage an existing system through its accreditation.

How we work

Direct. Accountable. No handoff games.

We're a small senior team, which means the engineers scoping your problem are the same engineers building it. There are no account managers translating between you and us. No junior developers cutting their teeth on your program. You get direct access to the people making the technical decisions, and we take full accountability for what we deliver.

steps

Step One

Understand the operational problem

We start by understanding what operators actually need to do, not just what the requirements document says. Who uses this system? What data do they have? What decisions are they making? What's getting in their way today? That conversation shapes everything that follows.

steps

Step Two

Build it and show you

We develop iteratively and keep you in the loop with working software, not status reports. Every sprint produces something you can use and react to. We build the security architecture alongside the features, not after. If something isn't right, we find out early, not at delivery.

steps

Step Three

Deploy and stay accountable

We've deployed into classified and unclassified operational environments before and we know where programs stumble, accreditation processes, network constraints, ops security requirements. We don't hand over a zip file. We stay engaged through deployment, work through the issues that come up in real environments, and ensure the system actually does what it was built to do.
